What You’ll Need to Make Pepperoni Pizza Puffs
Gathering your ingredients and tools ahead of time makes this recipe a breeze. Here’s what you’ll need:
Kitchen Tools:
- Measuring cups and spoons
- Cutting board and knife
- 12-cavity muffin pan
Ingredients You’ll Need for Pizza Puffs

- 13.8 oz tube refrigerated pizza dough (I used Pillsbury)
- 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ⅔ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup mini pepperoni
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
Step-by-Step Directions for Perfect Pizza Puffs
1. Preheat and Prep
Preheat your oven to 400°F and grease the cavities of your muffin tin to prevent sticking.
2. Divide the Dough
Roll out the refrigerated pizza dough and cut it into 12 equal squares. Place one square into each cavity of the muffin pan, pressing it gently up the sides to form a cup shape.

3. Layer the Flavors
Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese into the bottom of each dough cup. Add a spoonful of pizza sauce, followed by a few mini pepperoni slices. Top with more cheese, then sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning for an extra burst of flavor. Finish with additional mini pepperoni for a picture-perfect finish.

4. Bake to Perfection
Place the muffin pan in the oven and bake for 14–15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the dough is golden brown.

5. Serve and Enjoy!
Let the pizza puffs cool slightly before removing them from the pan. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
